Eric Stalsburg is in his second season as the director of operations for the Northeastern men’s soccer team. In this role, Stalsburg is responsible for all aspects of the Husky program, including team video, travel, fundraising, camps, compliance and budget oversight.
Stalsburg came to Northeastern from FC Bolts Celtic, where he served as the director of soccer operations and business manager for six months. There, he worked closely with the president and executive technical director in assisting the operation of the club’s overall team administration, game operations and player fulfillment. He was also responsible for club expansion and growth into new markets and cities. While with FC Bolts Celtic, Stalsburg also managed part time employees and interns with event operations, marketing plans and charitable foundations.
Prior to his stint with the Bolts, he spent one season in soccer operations with the New England Revolution, where he had first team administration responsibilities including the coordination, management and budgeting for all aspects of team travel. He also coordinated organizational-wide travel responsibilities for special soccer events including the MLS All-Star Game, MLS Cup and MLS SuperDraft.
With in Foxboro, Stalsburg was the first team player and coach liaison with Major League Soccer and Kraft Sports Group regarding relocation responsibilities, contract and collective bargaining agreement compliance and benefits responsibilities.
Stalsburg graduated from Springfield College in 2012 with a degree in sport management, where he was a four-year letterwinner for the men’s soccer team. He was a four-time All-NEWMAC conference selection, and currently resides in Canton. Stalsburg holds a USSF "E" Coaching License and has coached Bolts teams ranging from U9-U12.
